If you have any suggestions to make about the game or to the staff then please post them here (assuming you do so in a respectful manner). ;D

I'm thinking that it may be a good idea to put in a maximum limit of days for each round to last in a major battle. With many people participating, it usually takes quite some time before everyone has made their post... If you haven't posted after x days, too bad, losses are calculated and the next round begins.

Good thinking, I don't know why I forgot that..

I think that they should have Ninja's. I mean not literally ninja's but siege men. A robe with a hook to scale walls and then once on top do some damage, but not a lot. You could balance it out with the price they have. Also by making them very easy to kill by swordsmen and some class of calvary.

Ah, 'commandos.' Another idea we will look at. ;D

Also, it might be a good idea to limit the number of attacks that can be made per week. In reality, it would take months to prepare an army large enough to conquer an entire city, so I believe there should be a limit on the number of attacks you can launch per week or 2 weeks. And by attack I don't mean taking a single city. A weekly attack could consist of attacking various cities at once.
I just don't think it's fair that you would be able to take one city and immediately move your entire army to the next one. If there's an attack limit, it would be possible to attack multiple targets, but you'd need to split up your armies.
I would like to hear some opinions about this. I haven't really given it that much thought, this was just the first thing that came to my mind...

Another issue that often presents itself is the number of officers that join each Kingdom. It is rarely, if ever, balanced in these sort of situations.
The only thing I can think of is putting a cap on one kingdom until the numbers are close enough to seem balanced, or allow Kingdoms with less players to control NPCs with troops.

I would rather go for the NPC idea than the cap on a kingdom. New people shouldn't be forced into kingdoms. I think it would be harder to keep new members if they can't even chose which kingdom they want to join in the beginning.
And most of the time, it is beneficial for the kingdoms with less officers to team up against the kingdom that has plenty of them.

Yeah, I do understand your point - and thankfully all of the kingdoms are big.
Wei has around 9 Wu has about 7 Shu has about 7 or 8
Wei is also larger than the other kingdoms, so its no real surprise I have an officer or more. I will never deny an officer, however if the teams get too unbalanced I will allow for additional npc's to be created in the meantime to support the kingdoms who are affected by lack of officers.
As for the other ideas.
Commando's: as inaccurate as they are, I feel they'll be a fun little addition, so it is very probable we'll include these in on our next update which is anywhere within 2 days.
Jorg: I'm still thinking about your weekly attack cap, I'm not sure if I want to force kingdoms to attack only at 1 stage, although it does have its strategic uses, i feel limiting potential battles may be an issue, however - it may also require a lot more thought which would expand how we deploy our armies on a weekly basis. So i'm still thinking about that, I am about 75% in favour of it though but I'd need to discuss it more with Lyle.

Another suggestion is troop rank up. For instance regular swordsmen becoming vet's after being in one war, or training or etc..And by providing links and quotes would explain if the troops were denied or accepted.

We've done that before, we'll see how we feel about that effect and then decide.

Get rid of those damned roads. They are a pain in the game's ass!

No. The roads are really simple, you just didn't look at them when you decided to hit Zi Tong. They're there so that people expand in a way thats more accurate. It annoys me when ru nan hits jiang xia and what-not lol.

I wanted to post this suggestion, but I'm not sure how people will feel. Regardless, I think it's an important point to bring up early.
We have many special units and inventions being created.I think these things are a wonderful idea, but I also think limitations should be considered on them. Even if they are expensive, reason should also state that there won't be an over abundance of specially trained assassins or super heavy armored warriors. Just wandering around China.

I have a suggestion about the inventions... Well, if it's like an upgrade from a normal weapon (for example a catapault or an arbalest) or something, we should be able to buy the weapons and then be able to upgrade them later on.
Or we should be able to buy inventions in the "Kingdom Troops and Management" thread.
Just so that we'd be able to produce the inventions easily.
