Height:
5'7"
Weight:
153lbs

Shao's Hope: Yellow armour adapted from Shang's father's own armour so that it could fit his frame.
Personality:
A confident man, whose ambitions lie in the redemption of the Yuan clan. Unlike his brothers, Shang has a tactful mind that has the potential to be a greater commander than his father and this is emphasised by the lack of undecisive nature of his father Yuan Shao; yet, some do believe that when it comes to decisions on which path to take in his life were hesitant. However, he has issues with trust in those who favoured those who opposed his father, believing they are simply working to bring his name to the blade; furthermore, a dislike towards his brothers who, Shang believes, simply wish to bring the Yuan name into the mud for their own personal interests.
History:
Shang was the third son of the noble Yuan clan, his father being Yuan Shao, the once influential warlord of the North. When young his promise was visable and this was the start of attention taken from his older brothers Tan and Xi, both of which were not known for talents of any significance, thus also starting a uncovered dislike among them.
Staying close to his father, Shang believed it would be beneficial to learn from the Yuan patriarch; seeing one simply flaw within the methods Shao used..his lack of confidence to make a concrete decision, also, taking what advisors spoke of as gold..even if it was slander to another. Hard to see the beloved father's deterioration was hard, however, Shang was the third son and could not face the wrath of Shao's palm when trying to criticise.
However, it seemed to pass so quickly as the influence his father had was destroyed by his own childhood friend, Cao Cao. Even though one would believe Shang's hatred for the Wei liege would be more than the fires of hell, yet, he could not be happier for his own father to have been beaten by a friend; somewhat poetic he believed. But, Shang was not subtle when Chibi was a major blow to the ever-growing warlord, after all, to fully restore the Yuan name; would he not have to destory the being who brought the Yuan's to their knees?
Currently, Shang has been wondering the land of Shu and Wu trying to find a loop hole in which he can place his foot upon and start the creation of the Yuan redemption...
