It was strange how the city had caught Liu Feng's eye. Away from Shu he had expected to feel home sick and certainly not the almost-jolly attitude he was currently showing as he strolled down the streets. A second home? Certainly not, he even scoffed at the idea that popped into his head, but if ever he were to want one, this would certainly fit the bill perfectly.
He had been busy the last few days in the city of Jian Ye, meeting with Sun Quan on a few occasions, and without a doubt they had formed what he thought was a solid foundation for personal friendship. With mutual ideals here and there, it seemed Shu and Wu had a bright future.
"Whore! Bite me again and I really will do it!"
Sounding either like a thug with a dark plan or a very kinky sex session, Liu Feng found himself interested in the sounds coming from a particular house down the alleyway he was walking down. The dirty side of his masculine mind grinned at the prospect of walking in on two people exchanging in the most intimate of activities, but then again his serious side warned him something wasn't quite right.
*CRASH*
"H-Hel-!"
A cut off woman shouted, and Feng knew what the rest would of sounded like if it were not abruptly cut off. His instincts took over like an Alpha Wolf taking care of its younglings. He pounced towards the house, leaping over the small stonewall and taking no time to think, send his foot crashing into contact with the thin wooden door - no doubt owned by people of little riches.
"Who the hell are you!?"
One of the several men shouted towards the figure of Liu Feng, already preparing for a fight.
"I'll give you this chance but once only. Get your hands off the woman." Blunt and firm, he stared with menace and fire in his eyes.
This was no novel, and pleasantries were not exchanged. Liu Feng would not be the primary attacker in this instance, and one of the men took the chance to attack first, seeing the opportunity to attack whilst Feng had his weapon undrawn.
The man had a dagger in hand and in typical fashion moved in and attempted a stab to Feng's chest, but the young warrior of Shu was more than capable of dealing with such an obvious move, and moved his left hand to catch the arm of his attacker, keeping the weapon off course, and sending his right leg into the groin of the thug.
Hardly the most honourable of moves, but Feng wasn't as sweet and innocent as people often thought, he was a realist, and if this would grant him life, then to him it was the correct move in such a situation.
Next he crashed his elbow into the man's nose, and along the way disarmed the man before sending the blade clean into the man's neck. A bloody corpse on the floor was all that remained from the quick as lightning engagement the two had.
The rest flashed by, instincts and adrenaline pushed him through the next few seconds until reality struck again, and boy did it strike painfully. He felt his back hit the hard floor and the air force itself out of his lungs from the impact. He groaned in pain and held his face already feeling the flow of blood from his nose. Slowly regaining full focus he could see the angry faces of two well built men above him.
Liu Feng could only gulp as his hope of beating the odds were dashed. One man chuckled before sending a kick to his chest, making Feng jolt back in pain. His only hope lay a few meters from him, and trying to reach the dagger only ended in his hand being crushed under the foot of the other remaining thug. Two against the one floored Shu officer seemed bad odds...
