So, where you'd all start off roleplaying? The first 'roleplaying' experience I had was back on the Koei forums, several years ago, where I challenged another member to a 'duel.' And yes, it sounded so much more righteous when I was kid. From there we were all told to gtfo, so we made our own site and started up a little community of rpers who all came from the Koei forums, it was all very fun, us posting our one liners and hating each other. ;D But we were very into it, and we loved it, despite how simple and 'foolish' it was. Lots of people I think start off like that, very into it, at least I know in this genre. Anyways, I made this thread to discuss the concepts of rping and for everyone to throw down something of their own.

I'm glad rules were imposed to stop that lol, which makes me think. I've been doing this almost as long as you Lyle.

Started RPing on a PC game called Neverwinter Nights. I love that game and would still play it if I had time, but I never do.

While I didn't start that long ago I have seen many of those sites you guys made. They made for entertaining reads.

I started in 2006, got inspiration from a friend on the Koei Forums. then made my own, where I met alot of my 'internet friends' some of which are here, they'll know who they are. Without Koei's Dynasty Warriors 3 I wouldn't be here today.

Started with some random ROTK site. I think I found it on the koei forums, although I never posted a single thing on those boards. Got more interested in fantasy RP'ing afterwards really and joined countless of those sites. They all died almost as quick as they were created, but still, lot's of fun while it lasted.

I started in 2004 by following a link in Mike's profile on the Koei forums to Saga's. It was the first Saga's, but I was only on it for a few weeks before it moved to the Saga's we all know. Played Liang Xun briefly before I picked up Lu Xun, and that's who I was for the rest of my stay there. After I left I moved on to many, many sites at once until I overloaded. I think I was on BOTK the first one when I took my first "break". I was on all the BOTK sites, but never did much or anything at all. DF was the next site I was really active on, and that got me hooked on fantasy which is all I've rped since with any consistency. That's about it. I'm most-likely only known by Damian Thakis, my fantasy character, or as Lu Xun from Saga's - the one who repeatedly dueled Alex and lost.

I started on a fantasy site called Lights of Yore. It was alright, the members were douchey but it got me into it. I went from that to a few others, and eventually ended up on Darkness Falls. After that died down I took a break until RO3K: Battlefields. From there I got into a bunch of these sites, but I'm only on two now, because this stuff takes up alot of time. I prefer fantasy sites, but I still like this, uh... genre (lol) of RP. The other site I'm on is called End Wars, and it's pretty sweet.

Yeah, I was with you Koei folks up there. Though I didn't do much on the forums, I was linked over there by a friend who did, at the same time you all started up those sites.
I much prefer the fantasy sites, but all you people who I've gotten to know over the years have stuck to these sites, so I figure I might as well chill with you all instead of trying to find a new group.
Besides, most other groups for some reason are filled with lots of idiots.
Oh, and by the way..

Man, that's ages ago... The first site I was really on, I met mister Jorg and from there we got invited to Forsaken Era which was the best fantasy site i ever played. Later on I helped Matt and Sleip to build Saga, but Sleip found his ways to ban Matt and me from there, making me say farewell to it all. Been on many rot3k and some fantasy shites, but ALWAYS i end up with the same blokes and birds hanging around the fora.

I wonder if the old Three Clans sites still exists, i know ROT4K does (i know the link off by heart) as does Forsaken Era (though someone got hold of the admin password and locked it (still think it's Dan) and one must give Kudos to Jesse and his ROT3K which although others existed was a forerunner to Saga's and Bot3k IMO.
Meh, i feel old now

Ironically, TEC (The Eternal Clans) no longer exists. I'm okay with that too, I would say I don't want to even go back and read all that stuff, it was just so long ago.
