~Personal Troops~
20 Spearmen changed to 20 Dog Handlers (8 Dogs Each.)
The night was dark. The pale moon lit the streets as if it were the sun itself. Sarugaku raised his hand upward, behind him five hundred troops quickly came behind him. They were in a very dark building, one the size of a football feild. In the middle of it, a dirt pit. In it three dummies, one dressed in the Shu uniform, one in the Wei uniform, and one in the Wu uniform. Sarugaku shifted around toward the men that were behind them. "Take these masks, capture every dog you possibly can and bring them to me. Take all the dogs from adoption centers that are old enough to fight. I want every dog out there! You know where to bring them. Move out!" The men quickly placed the dark mask's over their faces and ran outward toward the ally ways and near by pet stores. Of course the owners wouldn't deny letting the Wu military having their dogs. After all it was for their protection. The howling and barking of dogs were heard all across the land. Some family's even donated their dogs that they couldn't feed. As well the pet stores donated as much food and treats as they could while still having some for them selves.
The next morning 160 dogs were barking in the very large building, all of them in the very large pit the in the middle. The dummies gone from it and placed at the side. The male quickly placed food in there, to keep them from barking. Sarugaku ordered the gates to the building closed untill they were done. On the right side of the building they had a large supply of treats and food for the dogs, it was now time to train and so it would be nessesscary. "Thank you, I only need 130 men now. The rest of you, go back to your duties!" The men quickly exited, 130 men stayed with the General. Sarugaku quickly sent out five orders, four to many differen't wood workers and one to a armor smith. The armor smith had a simple order, 20 replica armor of Wei officers. Of course along with some extra padding for a body. The four orders that were sent out to wood workers stated simply "Make 34 cages that can hold one dog, make it easy enough for an arrow to break the corner poles to release the dog. Also make very large cages to hold about 10 dogs. I will need 4 of those, make the poles easy enough for an arrow to break and set them free once more."
A day passed and all the cages arrived on time and on schedual. The male had his men place the big cages in a seperate room and had the single cages be filled with a dog. "Men let's get started." The men aswell as Sarugaku placed on masks and blue colored clothing. They were just regular blue clothing that anyone could get. The point of this was to get them to hate anyone who had on blue. Just as well it made them not hate the people who were training them, overwise they would hate the General and the people who were training them. All of them pulled out a blue painted stick and some doggy treats. With a sudden poke of the dog, their goal was to get them pissed off enough to make them attack the stick. Upon attacking they would be given a treat, and affection. They continued this type of training for the remainder of the day and the day after.
After the three days of stick training it seemed as if when ever they pulled out something that was blue they would try to go on a rampage to kill it. This was a sure sign that it was starting to work. Just that day the armor came in, twenty peices of what looked like to be Wei army uniforms. They had an officers, generals, archers, and other uniforms alike. Or what looked like it anyway.
It was time to start throwing them into the pit. In the pit were three dummies, one in Shu uniform, one in Wu uniform, and one in Wei uniform. People in black uniforms jumped into the pit aswell. Masks covering their faces and they have long poles to beat the dogs if they attacked the wrong person, and treats if they attacked the right. They threw one dog into the pit, dog looked scared before it saw the blue color of the dummies. It quickly attacked the dummie and knocked it downward. The dog quickly laid on the bitten dummie and the guards gave it three treats. The dog was quickly exited and sent into it's cage. The next dog was sent in and it attacked a Wu uniform. Quickly the men took their sticks and beat the dog's head and back. This dog needed more training and was set in a differen't area then the rest. Sarugaku and his men continued this process for another week until every single dog knew what to attack and what not to attack.
Twenty men placed on the Wei armor with the all over padding. They carried twenty cages of dogs toward a field where the dogs were permitted. The men dressed in their red uniforms released the dogs. The dogs quickly ran toward the Wei men and attacked them, bitting them in numerous places untill the officers in red came and yanked them off of the Wei officers. They were thrown in their cages and given many treats.
Sarugaku came out from the shadows with a smile on his face. "Yes, now this will work out nicely...Get the dogs! Were not done yet!!!" The men quickly brought the large amount of 160 dogs in front of him. This time they were in large cages. 8 dogs to one large cage. Right hand came upward a bit, 20 personal spearmen units came rushing toward his side. "Each one of you, you will take a dog cage. Feed it, love it, take care of it. But also once a week make sure that they still can attack the Wei colors. When you are done bring them to me once more. I will provide a special area for you to live and raise them. Never take off your Wu colors, we need to show them not to attack us." The spearmen dropped their wrapons and picked up a cage. Sarugaku raised his hand upward to a section of land outside of the kingdom that had fences and houses built onto it. In the houses were the basic living needs as well as a large supply of dog food and treats. The spearmen took off toward it, their orders were to make the dogs love them by the end of a month and that was their job to do.
A month passed rather slowly and the General came out on a horse toward the special living area. The dogs were all let lose and didn't attack the General who was wearing a red uniform. Sarugaku looked at the trainers and his head gently shifted toward the side, a smile on his face. The trainers got on one knee to bow toward him and the moment they got on their knee the dogs attacked the owners and started to lick them an extreme amount. Sarugaku smiled gently as he got off his horse. The dogs rushed toward him and nuzzled against his leg, gently rubbing against it in a friendly manor. It was obvious the dogs loved anyone who their owners loved. Sarugaku shifted toward the ground of handlers and spoke to them in a soft tone. "For the next three weeks we will teach then the kill word, the word for them to attack the enemy colors. The work will be Bu Boos. Once they hear that they will be able to attack, understood?!" The men got together and bowed once more, which were rewarded by dog licks once more.
The dog handlers and Sarugaku got treats. They placed blue dummies at the end of the feild the dogs growled and the handlers kept them back. "Bu Boos" Yelled one of the handlers and let his dogs go. The moment they released their dogs and they attacked the blue dummie they were all rewarded with treats. This type of training continued, that is until the three weeks were up and they were able to respond to the kill words. They placed a large amount of blue dummies at the end of the feild. The dogs weren't responsive this time and only waited for the words. "Bu Boos!" The dogs took off running toward the targets, tackling them and trying to eat them alive.
