[Ling Tong]

After recieving his orders, Ling Tong, with his troops behind him made their way to the city of Chai Sang. When he arrived, he dismounted from his horse and laid his hand on it, before taking it by the reins away from the rest. He looked around and saw the city and said, "So my task shall be here". He then glanced at his troops then turned away and headed towards the palace with his two officers, Lin Xao and Lei Huo following him.

Lin Xao, who had been training the troops before they departed, rushed up to Ling Tong's right and asked, "Master, we have had a long journey and it would be best for our troops to rest, yet work still needs to be done. Allow me to equip them with the best weapons for our next battle".

Lei Huo, who had kept his word and stayed with Ling Tong exclaimed, "The obvious approach isn't always the best one. Our obvious place, which would be on the frontline, but yet we are here in Chai Sang which is well away from the field, meaning something is wrong here. It is thefore my suggestion, that we look into the city's income and see what we can improve. If we are successful, then our task would be nearer to completion, but improving weaponry would require our resources so I would not go that far yet".

Ling Tong smiled, as his two officers spoke, then he replied, "It is true we are away from the fun. If we are down here, it is fixing a problem and we shall fix it. Lei Huo, you make sure the morale of our troops are high and are of good or even better standard. Lin Xao, you look into the city's resources and revenue, and make it increase as high as you can".

The two officers nodded then left his side, as he entered the palace and took a seat to prepare a speech and to speak to anyone who would enter.
