Optics of the male were cold. Colder then usual. He did not believe in ambushing and raiding supply's but he knew that is what he had to do in order to win in this war. The male called his troops to a stop at the Yan Ping gate. Male shifted his horse around toward the fresh faces that were about to face a new challenge ahead of them. The challenge of ambushing and raiding a convoy. Quickly the expression on the males face turned to a happy face, even if he hated ambushing and raiding. He loved the killing and blood fest, obviously this would mean he was bi polar. "Men of Shu, we will set up a camp about a mile down the road, then head to the north. There is a grassy area that we could make great use out of. Set up camp and I will be with you soon. " The loud sound of all the men coming to attention rang though out most of the land. As soon as the male turned his back his men left toward the grassy area he told them to go.
The male looked downward toward the ground. In his mind a million thoughts racing as he started to put the bits together. After about an hour of thinking he raced back to the newly made camp. The male got off of his horse and went into the room with the commanders of each of the units were. With a map of Han Zhong already laid out on the table the male started to speak to the commanders of his army. "Archers you will hide in the thicket and wait until the signal. Swordsmen you will charge the moment the Archers are done firing. Meaning you will be positioned with the archers. On the other side I will set up the horsemen and the spear men. You will charge as well. But let me tell you this. Do NOT charge unless the signal is up to charge. MOVE OUT!" The males stood up and ran to their assigned positioned with the men that were their.
After about an hour the signal was given that the men were in place. Sarugaku rode his horse outward to the thicket of the woods. Positioning himself with the Archers and Swordsmen. Sarugaku wanted a rich convoy and not just a single convoy.
After about three more days had past not a rich convoy in sight, the men were getting restless and tired. But they still had plenty of food even if it wasn't that good it kept their spirits up because just the thought of the reward was enough to give them a nice chill.
The men got back in position. After the fifth day of waiting they saw something shining in the distance. As it got closer and closer they saw a rather large convoy. Three elements of rich convoys. What looked like to be Three in each row. The signal was quickly given and the arrows started to fly at the convoy as quick as they could release them. After about two minutes of firing another signal was given. One that issued all of the units to charge. From the left the swordsmen and from the right the horse and spearmen.
