I don't think Sun Ce did enough to be a part of the top 5. top 10, maybe, but top 5 no bloody way. Yes he did lay the foundations of Wu, but he never really built Wu and he died way too early. He defeated a series of generals but his achievements, to me at least - don't compare with any of the other generals listed. Xiang Yu was compared to him yes, but only by the emperor If I recall correctly, and Xiang Yu was still a lot better. Guan Yu is worshipped in parts of China - it didnt make him an 'ubber general' according to history though did it? I just feel Sun Ce lacked that certain...power that the others had, I also sort of dislike Wu. Even still, I am the best, com'on. ;D You lived very long

Why doesn't any of you include Mao Zedong? I think he is better then all those old dudes. He had a really tough moment, but decided to rather fight his fellow Chinesemen then the Japanese invading his country.

Mao is a bit of a controversial topic, especially in countries that are not socialist or communist. At least, that's what I've been harshly told when I asked a relative how his new life in America is going (eyetwitch). However...
1. Mao Zedong 2. Deng Xiaoping (despite his first failure @_@) 3. Zhuge Liang 4. Xiang Yu 5. Haven't decided yet. Someone persuade me.
