Zhongda
Title: {Has not been granted a title yet}
Age: Twenty-Four
Sex: Male
Height: 1.79 meters
Weight: 70.3 kilograms
Weapons
Abyssal Feather Fan: A rather bland looking weapon, it would appear as nothing more than a normal feather war fan. The feathers themselves are black, taken most likely from a large raven. They range from a foot to two feet in length, with the group in the middle and two ends being the longest. However, under these feathers is something sinister. Three blades, one at each of the longer areas, are hidden under the feathers. These blades basically allow Sima Yi to come to blows, should he find all other options exhausted.
Phoenix Bow: A horse bow, made for Sima Yi by a nomadic hill tribe famous for such bows. The Phoenix Bow is a little more exotic than most, as around the grip of the weapon two wings look to furl outward, away from the hand. The wood looks like a combination of orange, reds, and yellows, and the wings also look like a cross between bronze and gold.
Personality: A rather cold and clever man, Sima Yi has long followed the belief that only the strong should rule. As such, he is not a fan of morons and brutes. He thumbs his nose at people who claim righteous virtues, and noble ambitions, feeling that if you are going to lie, never do it to yourself. Instead he follows men he feels are more intelligent than they are good, and who know how to wield power, rather than wield words.
Of course that is not to say Sima Yi is not a politician, and in fact, that would be a very dangerous assumption, as he is an expert diplomat and politician. He knows how to play that game, for it involves his favorite pastime, mind games. Yet at the same time, he is brilliant enough to play that game, as well as the game of war. And his strategies are ingenious in the way he can employ ambushes and tactics.
History: Sima Yi had been born in somewhat a prestigious family. The Sima Clan had been around for a long time, and Sima Yi and his brothers were somewhat famous for their intelligence, his older brother more so than any of them. Yet unlike his brothers, Sima Yi felt that a quite scholarly life was not for him, he expected great things out of his life, yet he had no way to truly reach that.
It was not until Cao Cao’s nephew heard of Sima Yi, that he was seen as something more than a scholar. Yet, to Sima Yi, the man was a fool and an imbecile, not worth his time. So when he came to meet Sima Yi, he met him with a cane, feigning illness. The man went away unhappy, yet he later learned that Sima Yi had simply used the cane to get ride of him. He ran to his uncle, informing him of the insult to his name. Cao Cao, curiously enough, decided instead that he wished to see the scholar for himself and had him brought before him. Sima Yi was escorted from his house, and brought before the imperial palace.
However, when Sima Yi entered the throne room, he found no one there except for the administrators and politicians. Cao Cao, having heard a rumor, instead, waited for Sima Yi to enter and walk past him. He then let out a shout, calling his name. Sima Yi was able to turn his head completely around to see Cao Cao behind him. Amazing all, and leading Cao Cao to believe that this man might be more dangerous than worth. Regardless, though, he brought the man before him, and made him a general.
Sima Yi was placed in the battle of Red Cliff, fighting against the soldiers of Liu Bei and Sun Quan both. He proved himself an adept and skillful general, yet in the end, Cao Cao’s forces were defeated thanks to ploys, traps, and nature itself. Sima Yi joined the defeated Cao Cao in a retreat back to Xu Chang and that capital, to regroup and gather their thoughts and wits.
